Well, Mamaw and Jake have returned from vacation. The good news is, they had a safe trip and lots of fun. The bad news is, Mamaw's camera went ka-flooey so no memorable or adorable photos to post! They had a little bit of excitement by hearing a loud noise in the attic of the condo. Mamaw being the big chicken that she is was almost certain that an intruder had crept in somehow. Turns out, that was true! Animal control notified them they had set a trap in the attic to catch a wayward Raccoon. Next morning there was one in the trap. However, it was determined that it was a Mama Raccoon, and that she had just given birth. The control guys crawled up into the attic, but could not find the little babies. The Mom had hidden them well, poor things!Anyway, it is good to have things around here returned to normal!

yes, I think we got out of there just in time before those little critters started getting hungry!!
