Sometimes I wake up and can't help but wonder how I could have been so blessed in my life. My boys, Matthew and Michael and now my precious grandbabies have made me feel like the luckiest person on earth. My own "little boys" just grew up too fast, and I miss that, but things happen that takes you back to days gone by. Last night, I was feeling kind of blue, then out of the blue, my son Matthew called me. He told me that he had thought of me a lot yesterday, because of something
(that I don't even remember) that he said I did for him and a friend of his 28 years ago to the day. To think that he still holds some of the memories that we made still close to his heart, is the best gift he could ever give me.

I look at old photos like this one, and I do remember how much fun we had when they were little boys. I would not want to trade my life as we lived it, for one to live any other way. Just goes to prove a person can be "rich" in many ways other than money.

Times like playing wiffleball and killing the grass that makes a baseball diamond in your backyard. Or you talking on your CB Radio in that lime colored hot rod you had. Woooohoooo time to go to Druthers and get us a Royal Burger!
I'll bet my good friend "David" is the one who left this comment. Right David? Next time, sign your name. Who knows, I might even take you to get a hamburger!!!! Says Mary E.
If those two little boys know where you can get a Royal Burger I want one too! They were the best! Rebbie
