"Talking to Giggy"

I was having a really bad day today, after a really worse week, (due to the Ice Storm and spending 4 days and 3 nights without electricity, heat, and water) but talking to Emery on the phone made me feel much much better! She was having waffles for breakfast and I see that she has a sticky face!

Thank you Emmie for cheering me up!

Hopefully things will get back to our routine this coming week and I'll see you Monday!

All I need for a fun bath is.........a FROG!

No, I haven't quit updating our Grandma page. It's just that Jake has been sick for a few weeks, he and Emery have not been able to visit and play together, so no new pics of them. I will get back into the swing of things soon. Great news tho, Emery's Grandmother in Texas called last night and she has found Emery a frog of her own! I can't wait to see Emmie's face when she gets it! There will probably be some more "frog snatching" going on tho, as Dee said it was blue with dark blue spots....yep, BLUE is Jake's favorite color, so he will be wanting it!

Jake the Computer Whiz!

...And the frog goes hopping home......

Emery's Mom had to have surgery this week, so Emery has spent the week at my house. All week she has asked to see her buddy Jake, but he's been sick and had to go to the doctor. Yesterday Renee explained to Emery that Jake was still sick. Well, Emmie did the sweetest thing, she sent Jake's Frog home to him. I suppose she thought that might make him get well sooner! After all these weeks of hiding and keeping "Jake's Pog" (as Emery calls it), she let it go....what a thoughtful thing to do! Emery has really missed her Mom and Dad, but we've had fun. Thank you "Mamaw" for giving her the bath, and for seeing to it that Jake's frog made it safely home!
