Practice Makes Perfect!

Rebbie said she was just practicing on how to be a "granny" with Gina's baby Tarryn, but it looks like she's doing all the right things. Tarryn spent the night with her, and was still in one piece by the next morning! Good job Great-Aunt Rebbie!

I went to church Sunday with Michael in their new church. It is really pretty and nice. My friend Brenda came to take me, so after church we went out to eat. It was a good day.

Here's a story about a gal named Rhonda... who was working very hard at the pizza hut...then one night a real cute boy whose name was David... came in to feed his rumbling hungry gut...
When he saw Rhonda.. he said "I love her"... and they got married right away out in the rain... then this hungry boy said I want me a family, so a few months apart the babies came...
They popped'm out..just like pez candy, and soon their little happy clan became complete... so it's no wonder now.... with three in college, it's so hard just keeping shoes upon their feet...
that's why they're barefoot... in all these pictures...that Donnie Coffman charged a fortune just to take ...
if only David had ask his "mommie", I'd got it done for half the price for goodness sake!
So next time David..call on Michael... he would have saved you a pocket full of dough...
and come this fall son, you'll surely need it, when off to college too your last will go...
By then your pockets... will be plumb empty, and I'll be patching again your last blue jeans...
and writing more songs about David and Rhonda so they will know how much to me their family means........

Kent and Kathy's baby Presley had to have surgery this week, but she is home now and doing good. She had to spend a few days at U.K. Hospital to have some repair work to correct a blockage between her stomach and intestine. What a beautiful little gal!

Update on Baby Kassidy

Renee's new granddaughter has already grown! I haven't got to go see her yet, but hope to soon! I think Emery is a little jealous of Jake having a new playmate! When I asked her if she'd like to see Jake's new little sister, she said NO, but when Renee asked her, then she wanted to! Of course her favorite word to me is NO, but anything Renee asks or tells her to do, she jumps right up and is ready to do it!

It's been a few weeks since Jake and Emery had a chance to visit. With Jake getting a new baby sister, his Mom has been off work and at home, so Jake hasn't been staying with Mamaw Renee. Emery had really missed him. She would look out the window and beg to go see him. Today was the day!

Yea...More Snow! 1/30/2010

Emery didn't get to go see Nemo on Ice today as planned, but she had fun playing in the snow at home. Disney Princesses on Ice will be at Rupp Arena in March, so I'm sure she will enjoy that even more.
