Jake's Christmas 2009
Looking at Jake's presents (all wrapped in Lightening McQueen paper)really lets you know what a big "Cars" fan he is! Everything from underwear, pj's, shoes, and items too numerous to mention found the way to under Jake's tree! Looking at the amount of gifts he received, I think he needs "Mater's tow truck" to come help move it all to his room!

Christmas Eve at Matthew's 2009
Michael, Brooke, Emery and I went to Irvine tonight to have Christmas with Matthew, Jennifer, Alexis and Gabriel. We all went to Candlelight service at Matthew's church after a quick visit to Sand Hill to see my brother's family. It was a sad but nice visit. After church, everyone had bowls of hot chili then the kids opened gifts. Emery liked Alexis and Gabriel's tree too. She spent a lot of time looking at all of their ornaments, and really liked Matthew's Christmas village display. I was so worn out by the time we got back home that I went straight to bed. That was a big mistake because I woke up at 3 am and have been up ever since! Looking on the bright side, that gave me plenty time to update my grandma page!!!

Merry Christmas my precious grand babies! Your Giggy loves all three of you very very much!

Merry Christmas to everyone who keeps looking at my "Grandma brag page". It won't be long until Renee will have a new granddaughter (next month). Her name will be Kassidy Nicole, (I hope I spelled it right). My good friends Kent and Kathy's baby girl will be here Jan. 8th. Her name will be Presley Adair. I can't wait!

Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho, it's off to Play we go......

Emery loves the story book and movie "Snow White". Practically every day she wants us to play "Snow White". We do indeed! She plays the part of Snow White and we use juice or Ale-8 for the "magic potion". She takes a sip then very dramatically closes her eyes (to sleep until the handsome prince comes by and kisses her on the cheek. Yesterday we had a mess to clean up because she played it to the hilt and let the cup of juice fall slowly from her hand! She is absolutely Emery the drama princess! I play the part of the Queen asking the mirror on the wall "Who's the fairest of them all?" Of course when I sip the magic potion, it turns me into an "ugly old woman" who gives Snow White the sleeping potion. We also play the parts of the Seven Dwarfs and this is her portrayal of "Grumpy". She imitates quite well the parts of Grumpy, Dopey, Sneezy, Sleepy, Bashful, and Happy. She says she can't play Doc because she don't have any glasses on! (Giggy gets to be Doc!) This photo is Emery's "Grumpy" face.
.....And what would she do with out her beloved crock! Yesterday she was using it as her "wishing well"...She would lean over into it and sing the song that Snow White sings at the wishing well in the movie. Emery knows every word of it and sings it at the top of her little voice. Never a dull moment!!!!

"I'm wishing...I'm wishing...for the one I love...to find me...to find me...today...tooooodaaaaay!"

Playing at Mamaw's House
Renee kept Emery for me awhile this morning so that I could go to town. She had fun with Jake playing with Renee's Christmas decorations.

I'm glad to see Jake still in him P.J.'s too this morning. Maybe it's an "age 3" phase they are going through and will hopefully pass soon, because Emery wants to keep her pajamas on all day lately for some reason! She used to couldn't wait to get out of them! Maybe it's the cold weather, and they just feel cozy!
