Flowers Everywhere....

Emery wanted to go outside and pick flowers. The snowballs, azaleas, tulips, and dogwood trees are in bloom. We had been outside just long enough for her to pick a lovely bouquet, when she looked up......"Look Giggy, it's JAKE coming to Mamaw's house! I want to go over there! Please, please!"
Suddenly, she realized they were not getting out of the car, but only picking Cheyenne up from school....
The car backing out of the drive, Jake leaving, total devastation.....Jaaaaakkkkeeeee come back!
The tears and look on her little face, broke my heart too!

Good Mountain Music!

Alexis played her Dulcimer at the Mountain Mushroom Festival
this week end. I would have loved to have been there to hear her, but everyone on this end of the road is sick. Brooke and Emery with Cracker Barrel food poison, and me on antibiotics. I'm sure she did a great job!

Ah...Spring!

Nothing says "Spring is here;" quite like Dandelions and violets everywhere! Emery and Jake got to play out in the sunshine for a little while. Renee took them to the back yard to play on the swing set. Yesterday and today both, Emery insisted we go outside and pick flowers. She loved the white Easter flowers in my neighbors yard, so she picked most of them. I convinced her to leave a few or she would have picked every one!

Alexis and Gabe Spring Break

Alexis and Gabriel returned from Florida yesterday. Matthew said they had a great time. The water really looks pretty! I sure would love to go to the beach one more time, but don't suppose I'll ever get to. I'm just happy they had a safe and fun trip.

Jake and Kassidy Easter 2010

Jake and Kassidy were on their way to church, when Aunt Brenda came by. They sure looked cute in their Easter outfits. Oh, and you do too Rebbie, you clean up right nice! lol

Presley's first Easter

This Easter was a very special one for my good friends Kent and Kathy. Baby Presley is too young to hunt eggs, but I'm sure she had fun being the center of attention at her grandparents house. What a cute little "Bunny"!
